Happy Bones

Dr. Brittany called us with the good news last night - no other spots were found on Charlotte's bone scan. Please join us in taking the biggest sigh of relief! We are so happy she called as soon as she knew, as it made going to bed & staying asleep a bit easier.

The MRI still took place today, but it was no longer full body. Partially because there weren't additional spots to examine, but mostly because Charlotte's implant can only withstand an MRI machine for 90 minutes. Today was focused on the pelvis and at some point soon, Charlotte will undergo another one focusing on the left knee. These images will serve as a guideline for Dr. Jesse as he finalizes the surgical plan.

We are back on the upswing - feeling ready to tackle the next thing that dare stands in our way!
